Ben - I saw you/heard you in Arlington about 4-5 years back at a barbeque place and I bought your CD and it was eaten by a in house CD player of a friend and they lost the cover too. I remembered I loved your music but could only remember you had a song called Gasoline and your first name. I asked my godaughter if she remembered you and she said oh yes he was really good so she found you and sent me this link! Se was with me that night, you were oh so handsome sitting on a stool in a little restaurant bar and our party of five were the only ones there and it didn't matter you gave a great performance regardless. Wow Ben. I met you last night at the Grand Lodge in Forest Grove. I didn't have the priviledge of hearing you sing in person but I listened to all of your music. My favorite song is River Road. You have a beautiful voice and this song takes me back to my roots in Montana.

Great job tonight at McMenamins Edgefield. The crowd wasn't great (i.e. the "Oregon" dancing was suspect for sure) but your groove was good. My wife and I really enjoyed your style - super talented for sure. Your CD's will be a part of our memories of our 17th anniversary. Someday when you're on the big stage we'll tell people "hey, we talked with that guy!"

I realize my personal opinion may mean nothing, but......A few years ago I was a student in two of your father's writing courses at North Central Texas College. He's a great teacher, one of the best I ever had, and I often wonder how he is. He helped me become a better writer. He told me about you and I bought your CD, which I enjoy very much. Ben saw you in colorado and really enjoyed your performance and attitude. I do a lot of benifits for different charties, and will contact you later. Your name is not one that is recognized so will have to bring you on with another act, you by yourself with the venue I do would have a hard time selling. Hey! I seen you at the Summer Balloon Classic in Mansfield/Waxahachie this past weekend. I loved your music and have had the CD playing in the car all weekend. I think I'm going to make the drive to Lindale to see you again in August (I needed a reason to check out Miranda's winery). I took a few pictures from the show I'll have up on my myspace later today, you should check them out. One's pretty cool with the hot air balloon inflating behind you.
